Take to the open road in an EV
We challenge three myths about electric vehicles and road trips.
Myth 1: Electric vehicles can’t travel far
Fact: Depending on the model, EVs can travel up to 70 to 200 miles on a single charge.
Myth 2: It’s hard to find places to charge your EV
Fact: It’s easy, thanks to the West Coast Electric Highway — a network of electric vehicle fast charging stations located every 25 to 50 miles along Interstate 5 and other major roadways in the Pacific Northwest.
Myth 3: Charging takes a long time
Fact: Fast charging stations provide a full charge in only 20 to 30 minutes. That gives you a break to stretch your legs, hit the restroom, or grab a coffee or quick bite. Both you and your EV will be refreshed and raring to go.
